Hardy Craske was established back in the eighties
from an amalgamation of two Branded Esso distributors. Hardy Collins
and Craske Petroleum. These companies concentrated their efforts
in the agricultural and marine and domestic markets, as gas heating
had not yet taken a foothold in the mainly rural territory. These
companies had been established in the early sixties where many of
today’s fuel distributors can find their roots.
Hardy Craske has undergone many changes in its growth, at times
being a “Branded” distributor and eventually electing
to be an independent. Currently this is the way in which we believe
we can best serve customers. The two businesses were combined to
cover an area that comprised of East Anglia, Lincolnshire and South
Humberside, serving all markets and forming the company as it is
to day under the umbrella of Jones Distribution Ltd.
Hardy Craske operates from three locations, Ipswich, that is also
the Head Office, Great Yarmouth and Boston.
